Andrew concentrates his practice on bankruptcy insurance coverage disputes. He has significant experience representing insurance company interests in mass tort cases and advising on the enforceability of contractual obligations in bankruptcy proceedings nationwide. Andrew’s primary objective is to explain the impact of bankruptcy proceedings on the insurer’s obligations under an insurance policy and preserve the contractual rights of all parties to the insurance contract.

Most recently, Andrew served as attorney advisor and national bankruptcy coordinator for the U.S. Department of the Interior, advising federal agencies on bankruptcy cases involving federal mineral leases, oil and gas royalties, and federal environmental regulations. He rejoined the firm in 2025.

Prior to founding Perry, PLLC, Andrew served as a law clerk to the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel for the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, where he was responsible for assisting appellate judges review decisions issued by bankruptcy courts in six different states. Following law school, Andrew served as a law clerk to the Hon. Randy D. Doub in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.

Andrew is a member of the North Carolina, Colorado and Tennessee Bar Associations as well as the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance, and the Turnaround Management Association.
